To all the boot designers on QVC.....

PLEASE  produce some wide calf knee high boots for those of us with a 18-20" calf!

Not with alot of that stretchy goring either!

Example:  A283158  MARC FISHER SUEDE BOOTS

These are BEAUTIFUL and at a 17" circumference....I'm left out in the cold.   I could zip up, but all blood circulation would cease and there is definitely not any room for a legging to put into.

I love these boots so much if they fit I would have purchased at least 2 of the 3 colors.

PLEASE PLEASE don't forget us ladies who are thicker in the calf...."real" sizing please!

Rojo,

I'm in the same boat.  "Wide" calf seems to be 17 inches, 18 if lucky.  I've wanted boots for so long now but just couldn't zip all the way up.  I actually purchased a pair of "extra wide" from QVC.com last night.  Said the measurement was 19 inches.  Fingers crossed.

I see wide calf boots everywhere I look.   QVC has had them numerous times,  Zulily has had them and I'm sure the online shoe sellers have them.   Maybe you got a late start looking?

I think the issue is sizing for a so called wide calf isn't really wide at 17 for some people.

I just ordered a pair of 'true' wide calf boots from Torrid.

The reviews were positive, saying the boots are truly wide calf, so I'm hoping these work.

I've never bothered with "wide calf" boots from various brands sold at QVC or even Nordstrom because I know they just aren't going to work, LOL.

   Thanks Eva!

Eva provided a link with 51 different pair ....  surely, something might appeal to you.  If not, perhaps a B&M store would be better for you.

@ROALJO I hear you! I am a 1X in most clothes, but I carry most of my weight in my hips and legs. I have a 20" calf (at least the last time I checked, which has been a number of years ago) and wear a 10W shoe.

There are wide calf boots out there, but I've found that many of them don't hit the 20" mark. Some of them increase the calf width as the shoe size goes up, which makes NO sense to me. I'd have to get a size 12 or so to get my calf width.

One pair of David Tate boots here at the Q starts the 20" calf width with their size 6, and increase it with each shoe size. At a size 10 it would probably be way too wide for me!

I gave up a long time ago trying to find boots to fit my calves. Now I just wear ankle boots and, if wearing them with skirts, tights.
