proper amount on return orders!!!!

QVC please make sure to check that the item returned was paid without using your pre-paid label!! You did this to me 3 times now. Not refunding correctly.

I NEVER use those pre-paid labels because it is cheaper to pay myself at post office.

Your people automatically assume that the pre-paid was used WITHOUT looking!

I then have to call to straighten this out.

Please train the people who do this properly.

Hey a little bit here, a little bit there, it all adds up to QVC's profit margin----they hope that people won't notice.

Re: proper amount on return orders!!!!

I also never use prepaid labels, but I make sure I do include them in return package. I always send back my using USPS priority mail. For whatever reason packages arrive at QVC with a tracking number and I get my refund faster. It takes too long with QVC's labels. I always know what I am due from QVC when I send the package. This is to insure the amount is correct. It isn't that I think QVC is out to cheat me, but they are a huge organization where mistakes can occur. I think QVC expects us to check their work.

Re: proper amount on return orders!!!!

I don't think the warehouse people look. I decided that long before they came up with the $6.95 return label when I used to make comments on the return slips. They were never acted upon. Now if I have something worth saying, I do it separately - sometimes a call, sometimes an actual email or if it's a really big deal (to me) I actually use snail mail!

I don't really know where the fault lies, but I know I wouldn't want my job to be anywhere near one of those huge QVC warehouses.

Re: proper amount on return orders!!!!

Good Topic! I'm tired of getting an email as requested when I FINALLY get my refund (if on easy pay the Q usually has gotten 2 payments by then). I check my bank online but see only oddball numbers as credits instead of the total refund so I can match up with email notice. Enough already Q ! I eat lots of overpriced shipping costs after finding box & tape etc. and schlepping to mailbox. 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE needs some 'splaining to do!! I don't order questionable things anymore to avoid the hassle. This is a very competitive market now --- ONLINE SHOPPING --- and Q Needs to check out the competition. Oh I have so many more ""suggestions"" and complaints but I'm encouraged to see I'm not alone!

Re: proper amount on return orders!!!!

When you return using your own methods but still using the packaging QVC used to deliver the package, make certain to remove ALL their shipping labels so they can't be scanned.
