@Cajunpip

I wonder if companies have found fashions to be the highest return rate = most losing dollars?

Funny, I feel that way when I do a Q Check and find clothes, shoes, cooking, vacuums, air cleaners etc

I like holiday programming and that is when I make most of my purchases dollar wise.  Clothing I shop for clearance during free shipping days.

I guess it's a matter of perception and when you tune in.

It seems like mostly what I see is fashion, which I'm not particularly interested in.

@Cajunpip not sure when you are watching but when i look up shows, there were three shows of clothes or accessories on the main QVC channel just yesterday afternoon.

If you were looking for AM style today, its a holiday- all day today..

@Cajunpip.  You haven't noticed that the season has changed and Christmas is in the air?  From now on through December there will be less and less of what many of us want to see and Christmas will be crammed down our throats, if we choose to watch QVC.

It's a good time to find something else to do.

That's what's perfect about the streaming options.

Watch only what you want to see.  When you want to see it.

You are your own programmer.

The viewing options are endless.

Re: programming

[ Edited ]

I rarely watch fashion, but never feel its "crammed down our throuts" as i am in charge of what i watch on tv.

I love watching holiday on tv, but not so much in stores too early as once you walk in you may not be able to avoid it if not in the mood. .

I dont have budget to buy but i love the holiday style and trend watching on tv and its fantasy a bit but im choosing to watch so its not "crammed down my throat".

I am in control of my entertainment.

Programming is horrible anymore.  I realize QVC is trying to make some positive changes but this isn't it.  Today another all day holiday stuff.  Sunday will probably be a vacuum or a expensive Dyson  day.  And clothing....forgety it....all they have is Isaac and Kim and Susan - they have no designers lefty anymore.....juust the same old stuff...sloppy Lori Goldstein clothes....Isaac and is same old Pima cotton and Kim with her over priced stuff and then Susan and that horrible liquid knit.  Nothing oreiginal anymore,

@grooms

Sunday it'll be MORE Christmas stuff..... mercury glass, glitter, hokey scenes of Christmas in 1940 with the ubiquitous "red truck" meme....and imported resin statues, imported from China schmaltzy Jim Shore "Americana" figurines ( read that sentence a few times to savor the irony)....more Santas and angels with scenes in thier skirts, or music, or lights, while at the same time they can't give away that cornball resin pine tree with the scenes in it that they dredged up from last year...

The resin statue factories in China must be working overitme on all that glittery battery eating garish stuff.....and, it's getting bigger and gaudier every year...

Let's look in down at the modern factory where this stuff is churned out 24/7....

....I can imagine the workers reading thier work order for the day and saying..."We're making WHAT today???  MORE big beer- bellied, glittery, toes turned in, eyes that follow you around the room and a knowing smile as if the statues know some horrible secret you're trying to hide???? AGAIN???? Sheesh!!!" ( of course they say all this in Chinese!!!!)

So maybe a vacuum or a Dyson overpriced "Oval Special Fan that Blows Magical Air and Bubbles" would be a pleasant diversion!!!
