For days now, the live feed for Q has been unavailable to Ipad and iphone users.  I wasted a good deal of time trying to find out why my relatively new apple products were unable to use the Adobe Flash Player. The notice on the Q screen insists IOS10 is required.

IOS9.2 is the latest update for protable apple devices.  IOS10 is the version for macbooks and desktop macs.

Does anyone know if the change is permanent?  intended? It's been days now and  many calls to customer service, all fruitless.

HSN and Evine work just fine thank you!

@CoG, Adobe Flash Player has never been available on Apple mobile devices.  It's highly unlikely it ever will be and, in fact, Adobe Flash Player has been less and less popular in the technical world and I wouldn't be surprised to see it phased out completely.  (Steve Jobs was not a fan:  http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/)

When I tried to view the QVC Live Stream and clicked on "Video Help" at the bottom of the page, the popup states, in part:

"...Can't see the video? Make sure you have Adobe Flash Player version 10.3 or later installed on your computer..."

It doesn't mention the iOS (operating system for Apple mobile device, current version 9.2) or OS X (operating system for Apple computers, current version 10.11.2) versions.

I tried using the "QVC for iPad" and the "QVC for iPhone" apps, and the live stream works with no problems:

I've been wondering the same. Why limit iPad users even more ? It's been frustrating enough with all the other limitations and now this ? I just updated my iPad Air two with ios9.2 .I see that the live feed works on the Q app but I don't care for the format there. ☹️

Hi, @Azcowgirl!  I know I've been frustrated in the past that the forums had such limitations for those using mobile Apple devices.  When it comes to Adobe Flash Player, however, if you do some internet searches on something like "Adobe Flash Player decline" you'll see the software is not especially good and does pose security problems among other things.  So, in the long run, I think Apple served their customers well in opting not to use this on their mobile devices...  and it's interesting to see the tech industry is probably going to follow in their footsteps.

I wanted to add:  calls to the QVC Customer Support staff usually are fruitless if the problem is a technical one.

It's usually better to contact the support team here (possibly @Eva-QVC?) or use the "Email Us" at the bottom of each page on this website, to try and get the questions directly to the technical support team.

Now that @CoG has asked here, perhaps they'll let us know if they plan to allow those of us without Adobe Flash Player view the live stream on the full website.Smiley

@dooBdoo Bless you! While the option to view Q live from the home page is still inaccessible, the app works just as you said it would.  Thanks for the link!

Not sure what you are doing wrong, but the live stream works perfect for me on both my iphone and ipad. I have the most current ios.

Ruby, are you watching live stream from the home page, or the Q app ?

During the summer I had no problems watching QVC Live with my iPad.  Now there are some issues.  When I click on the link, there is a play triangle with a line through it, and nothing happens when I tap it.  If I refresh my screen a few times, the line goes away and I can tap it to play the live stream.  Sometimes I tap on the QVC Plus link and get the triangle with a line then I tap the back button and I find the QVC Live triangle no longer has a line through it and I can play it.  Last summer I was able to tap play without having to refresh or hit the back button.  I'm using the latest iOS software, and I've closed all apps except Safari.

Hmmm @CoG, you're right about the live Feed not working on an ipad's Safari browser. It also won't work on the chrome browser for ipad either.

The workaround would be to use the QVC app from the Apple store. This app is from the U.S. apple store and it's geoblocked so for anyone outside of The U.S. You need to go to the U.S. apple store and set up a U.S. account. You can watch either the QVC live feed or the QVC Plus feed. Usually the quality of the feed is pretty good.

Workaround two is to download the youtube app from the apple store and then open the app and go to the QVCtv channel. They have a live feed of the main QVC channel but not the QVC Plus one.

My problem is I am unable to find the forums on the IPad app. I access these through the home page. Does anyone know if these can be found on that app?
