Thank you so much @newziesuzie, I have forwarded that to management also. Hopefully we can have all these issues cleared up soon.

Re: iPad issues: Formatting

[ Edited ]

All the same things are happening to me and additionally, I notified Customer Service via email about not being able to enter the sweepstakes on my iPad. Happening to me too. I kept trying to submit in Rich Text and it didn't seem to go through so I wound up retrying three times. Then I switched my message to HTML and it went through. After doing this I liooked and all my tries in Rich Text posted. So now I have four messages there. Additionally, I could not change a typo to correct it. It would not let the cursor go into the Wird so I could remove a letter and insert the corrected letter. I have been trying to enter the sweepstakes for two days and I can't. I have not updated to IOS 9.

They're aware of the problems and evidently won't be correcting anything until after the weekend.    Here's the announcement in the "Customer Care" forum.

I don't usually get all that upset about the ongoing, seemingly neverending Apple device issues, but THIS -

IMO there is no excuse for IT people to screw something up THIS COMPLETELY, render the forums and in some cases even the website to purchase things unusable, and then say in effect, "yeah, we'll get to it when we get to it" when my guess is that 25-30% of all users are on Apple devices.

The increasing (yes, it is increasing) level of incompetence is mind-boggling - and sad in a very lame-sad way.

Since this IS the Suggestion Box -

Might I suggest that the IT Department hire people familiar with iOS and keep abreast of its changes, and -

When a MAJOR SERIES OF GLITCHES that pretty severely affects customers' ability to post and to BUY happens near a weekend, they have IT tuchuses working on it OVER THE WEEKEND.

@Moonchilde, It hasn't escaped my attention that some of the worst issues seem to involve Apple mobile devices and that the major glitches on this site seem to show up immediately before a weekend... and evidently tech support doesn't address problems on weekends.    It's really very odd.
