The other night I was up because one of my old dogs was not feeling well, so I got a chance to watch the performance of a blonde host that did the jewelry clearance show and the Susan Graver show.  What a disaster she seemed more concerned in being the model and speaking over the guests, then when it came to the Susan Graver show comes to find out that she had her pants on backwards.  I know that if I acted like that I would be in the adminstrator office and probably would have been drug tested.  Not sure what was going on but she doesnt fit Qvc standards, she needs more training that or change her to a model, as that was what she was more interested in.

Guessing the host was Kristine Zell. I try not to watch her based on previous similar behaviors.

The newer hosts are on the graveyard shift.  I haven't caught any of them.

Several years ago during a Quacker Factory show, the model Korine (sp?) had her pants on backward.  The host (maybe Antonella)  said, "I can't believe they pay you for that".  I don't think I've laughed so hard since.  The whole show fell apart.

Maybe it was Mary Nelson she was just on a over night show, watched her show and she did mess up a little. I don't, usually watch her shows I can't. take her shaky voice for too long.

Reading some of these posts about the "newer" hosts makes me happy I hardly watch Q anymore.

sometimes I'll watch In the kitchen shows w David & Mary - and these are losing my interest fast & VPH just to see her things.  I remember when I always had Qvc on just as background noise while i was doing something else....not anymore I just check "Items Recently on Air".😉

You watch a host for the first time, don't get her name, but critiqued her every move and then decide she's not QVC host material?

I have watched many of the new hosts over the years and thought what were they thinking when they hired that person.....given time some have become favourites and some I still don't like.I know that it is partly a personality thing when you just can't relate to or don't like a host.Hosts are on air to convince us to purchase,so I don't think Q wants us changing the channel.
