Re: Your moderators

**************Well, what one poster considers friendly or unfriendly is different from another poster.  I think  that would go for Mods, too.

If you stay within the rules you will have no problem.  I don't always go along with the rules  or some of the decisions made but when you join a forum like this...I guess you have to like it enough to abide by these rules or look for a forum more suited to your idea of what that forum should be.  Just my take on the whole thing.  For me, I like the people well enough to stay. Do I ever disagree with a decision by a Mod?  Yes, of course, we all do at times. The fact is they were hired to have the last say!

When I was  a kid there was a saying that said..."Like it or lump it".  I don't say this to be snarky....I just think it fits.  Gee, I hadn't thought of that phrase in years.....  I think I just aged myself!!

I disagree with OP.  I like the work the moderators do.

There are thousands of unfettered places to post - the Q Forums are much more civil, much less ugly.  Picky, picky sometimes - but so am I.

"You people" turns me off.  Condescending much, OP?

I think it's rather sad actually.

Am I missing something? What, exactly, is your suggestion (this is the Suggestion Box)? Mine would be Spell Check, off the top of my head.

Is "you people" calling out all of the moderators, or referring to fellow posters?

No forum will ever be ideal for every personality. Some might be happier progressing to a different forum. And just to demonstrate that I'm not "taking it so seriously" - 😜🤣🤡🤠😁

@blankette  I guess I do not understand what you are implying.  Did a post or thread of yours get removed?

I'm not bothered by the moderation at all. If I wanted less moderation or even a free for all, I would find other forums. There are plenty of them. I wouldn't stay where I am unhappy.

I dont understand why one cannot make a suggestion in the Suggestion Box without criticism.   Isn't this the purpose of It?  If we suggest people can go somewhere else, can't we do the same and not come here and put in our two cents?

But that's the point - the OP didn't offer a suggestion, just a broad criticism with nothing to explain it or any suggestion on how to improve.

Bottom line, however, is, if you don't like the rules of the forum, you need to find one that suits you better.  That implies no criticism of someone's views, but it is a suggestion.
