Wrong items shipped, partial refunds, double billing

These are just a few of the issues I have had with QVC over the past 60 days.  Most recenrly an item I purchased on easy pay was double billed today.  I sent pictures via email to customer care.

Last week I received 1/2 of the refund I was owed---ANOTHER CUSTOMERS item was shipped to me, not the itwm I ordered and QVC made me go through the ringer trying to rectify the problem despite all the pictures I took of the return label (different customer information) and return label information.  I had to contact the PostMaster General to get QVC to respond.

Before that an item was returned and asked for an exchange, it took 3 months to even acknowledge the returned item.

 

I am very uncomfortable doing business with QVC lately, especially this organization having access to my credit card due to the issues mentioned above.

 

QVC needs to issue a statement is there have been changes to their shipping/returnns dept over the past 2-3 months (not the past 2 weeks due to health crisis---well before that)

 

I have shopped with QVC for 20 years and am saddened my faith in the company is waning.

@Donna0303    When you purchase from most online companies, they put a temporary hold on funds through your bank, presumably to determine if money will be available to pay for it.  This hold drops off after a few days, the time depends on your bank's policy.  The actual withdrawal is not made until your item ships.  You are not billed twice.

 

I always notice this happening when I buy gas with my credit card.

Hi---thanks for responding!  Absolutely for gas--usually its $1.00.  This is new for QVC being billed twice.  I have since sent an another email to CustomerCare and I am yet to get a response.

I have also been double-billed for an item which I have not received.  WARNING:When contacting QVC, be prepared for BS. I have details to follow, but beware!

This is different.  It is a form of embezzlement and I intend to report to BBB.  They charge you when an item is ordered, then when it ships, you are billed again.  Then, the first charge is credited.  I have paid twice for an item I haven't received, and the cust. serv is awful.

@LisaRu   @Donna0303   I explained to you in March what happens with that authorization.  Call your bank and verify it.
