I ordered from the American West Collection which used to promote the works of the  Indigenous people of the Southwest.  Now the stuff is coming out of South Carolina.

@Puzzle Piece Where they’re designed and even where they’re manufactured isn’t necessarily where the qvc warehouse is.

one of the last items I ordered was mad in China.  It was shipped to me from there!

Thanks for your reply.

I would never receive or keep anything touted as a Southwest article if is wasn't actually the genuine Southwest labor that is so available here in the USA

I know that the Jody Naranjo jewelry IS made here by her and her studio artisans.

Carolyn and Bill have a few Indian artisans who design some pieces for American West but most is designed by Carolyn and her staff.  It is made at their facility here in Albuquerque.  I don't think anything they sell has ever been made in China.  They take too much pride in saying it's all made in the USA.  @millieshops   I think you have confused your purchase with something you bought elsewhere.

@Puzzle Piece I haven’t added any new jewelry to my collection ion for 8 years now.  I do have some of the Indian pieces Carolyn brings us, but I don’t believe I ever watched where they shipped from.

Hope you can wear your new piece with pleasure. I like what I have enough that soo far I haven’t given any away like I have lots of other pieces.

Carolyn's jewelry is all made in the USA in New Mexico.  QVC has warehouses all over the U.S. and that's where they ship from.  That doesn't mean they are made there, it just means that's a warehouse they use.

@Kachina624 not at all confused but obviously I confused you. Sorry. . I was not suggesting that any of my southwest jewelry had been made in China -   Just that even anything made in China doesn’t often come to us without landing in a warehouse somewhere.

OP was worried that her jewelry maybe wasn’t made in the Southwest since it shipped from a warehouse in SC.

I still have some pieces that were handmade and signed by the artist that I treasure...
