As you know, Zappos data base was compromised. Addresses, names and the last 4 numbers of credit cards were stolen.
God forbid this would happen to QVC as we only have a 4 number password to access our account. In todays world I feel we should have at least a 7 letter, number, character, etc. password to get into the account. Why do you have to store our address? I am perfectly capable of typing in my address once I get in. I guess what I am saying after all these years being a QVC member and seeing what happened to Zappos I am very concerned and doing a lot of thinking. If a thief is smart enough to figure out how to steal information, don't you think it would be very easy to unscramble or figure out my 4 number password?
On Zappos I used Bill MeLater. I have now closed that account out after 10 years because they have the same system as QVC, just 4 numbers and they happen to be the last 4 numbers of your SS number!
I have since changed all of my passwords on every place I have shopped the past 13 years and each on wants at least 7 character, numbers, etc. I have a different password for every one. I have also closed the accounts with only 4 number or letter passswords. QVC, please give this some consideration.
Thank you
