Why does it usually takes two-three weeks for delivery?

[ Edited ]

Am I the only one who has noticed that it takes about a week from the day you order something for it to begin the shipping process? Then another week for delvery? I mean seriously....Amazon offers two day shipping. Why does Q even show an estimated delivery date? I ordered items on 9-4 EDD is 9-12, today is 9-12 and the package is in Illinois, I'm in Denver waiting and waiting. This Happens all the time. I'm starting to cancel items if they don't ship within 2-3 days. So nowadays my order history looks more like a cancellation history. QVC needs to do something to stay relevant in the Ecommerce world! Who wants to receive an order two to three weeks later? Not me.

Now it seems they have locked people out so you cannot cancel.  So now there will be more returns.  Geez

There may be nothing relevant about EDDs now that the hurricanes have hit and the fires are burning up the west. ?

when i order from qvc, it usually takes 8 days for it to arrive. the edd is always a day late, but i can't complain. that's good enough for me considering all the complaints here about shipping.

@fuzzybunnyslippers  You need to Read the boards.  There are constant complaints about shipping.  Yours isn't a unique problem.  QVC is well aware of the issue and is trying to fix it.

Continue to cancel every time an item hasn't shipped in 2-3 days. Remarkably soon, QVC will inform you by letter that you no longer have purchasing privileges. Period. Ever again.

If that's cool with you (sounds like it might be), you're set. You won't have to take any action, QVC will do it for you.

Yep. I ordered a Shark on 8/27 & received it on 9/11.

@SurferWife  That's probably something Shark shipped, although it's sorry service.

Here's an idea.   Why not let posters post their complaints without snarking at them?   The more people who post that they are NOT PLEASED with waiting past the EDD of orders, perhaps QVC will pay attention and fix this complaint that "isn't unique."
