Why do they have guests on the program when the host never lets them talk?

Jill Bauer is on now w/ the Duraflame Electri Stove TSV guy and he is barely getting a word in. She can barely wait for him to stop talking so she can startup her hard sell again. When he is talking you can tell she is not really interested in what he has to say.
