@no I am not talking about that, as I already know that. I am talking about if someone hearts a post ONLY and yet I get two notifications that that person hearted a post. Same with the @ mention, even though they didn't edit their post.
@I see more than one pop-up telling me I've received a heart or an @notification, and I also sometimes see more than one addition to my "Notification Feed." The best I can tell, it's random (other than, as you say, when people edit posts and sometimes trigger multiple, duplicate notices). I don't see it as a problem (not saying anyone is)... I'd rather they concentrate on the other glitches.

I wondered if the double notification had to do with when you quote a post and then put the person's name in there again.
Someone want to test that out?

@VaBelle35 @HappyDaze and @HappyDaze, I've been wondering about that as well.
I have the feeling that all of these reasons create multiple notifications.
It would be great if the moderators could check this out.
Additionally, In the past few days, I've started trying to remember fo take the "@" off of a notification if I go back and revise it. That way, the system shouldn't generate a second notification. -- It sounds as though I should also quickly scan the orignial post (if I'm quoting it in my reply) and delete the "@" there as well (unless I want that poster to also receive a notification of my reply).
It's a new added step but I'm trying to remember to do it.![]()
