Re: Why a halter top in Nov?

One of the news anchors on my local TV station had sleeveless on today also. It was below freezing outside. If it's hot in the studios for women, how ever do the men survive????

Especially since they say it is cold in the studios to explain why they are wearing sweaters in July. Lol.

Re: Why a halter top in Nov?

Not everyone lives up in the snowy north. Some QVC customers live in states that are warm at this time of year. Or they go on vacation -it's difficult finding summer clothes in the stores at this time of year, so it's nice that QVC have some.

Who does it hurt, that they sell something you don't want to buy? I don't want to buy a computer or a vacuum cleaner or a face cleaning gizmo, but someone somewhere does.

It was supposed to hit 90 in my neck of the woods today.

Re: Why a halter top in Nov?

They were not selling a halter top. Kirsten was wearing one for Saturday Morning Q. Being that it is in 30's or low 40's here in PA, it seemed a little inappropriate for the season. That is what the op was commenting on. I don't think I have ever seen QVC sell halter tops.

Re: Why a halter top in Nov?

I didn't see this particular show, but I figured the OP had to be referring to Kirsten. There has to be some sort of clause in her contract that states that she must show her bare stomach X number of times and she must show off lots of skin X% of the time she's on air. (X = a high number Smiley Happy Either it's in her contract, or she's just one who thinks less is best when getting dressed.
