@Crittersx4.  Modern technology is ever changing and not static.  This isn't and will never again be the "good old days".  They have to change to keep up and interface with everyone else.

Re: Website format: STOP CHANGING IT!!

I accept that changes will be made to technology and interfaces from time to time, but this website is continually "updated" to be more cluttered and less user friendly, and it is always done in the most amateur and impractical ways possible. They really MUST STOP simply overlaying page and feature changes instead of recoding or reprogramming; having just about every page reload multiple times before the content is set is extremely frustrating.

The latest debacle is the new "Items Recently on Air" format they're rolling out—it's awful and the changes seem unnecessary.

I agree! I noticed it this morning. Ugh.....whether technology is ever changing, if it ain't broke, then don't change it. I really don't like the new website. It's not user friendly to me. All the show items roll together. Un-unh. 🙄

I totally agree.  It is a mess both to look at and to find what I want.

One thing for certain is that everything will change, including technology. Every company in the world will keep changing their websites.

I've never seen Q or any retailer make a change that is difficult to learn. I might not like every change but that's a separate issue.

Changes won't stop. It's just life.

@loriqvc,

As someone who has spent my career life in IT, with all that entails, I think your post is spot on.😊

I've designed and implemented countless changes to our software systems over the years, supported the users as they learn and adapt, and that's the nature of the technology.

I'm a person who enjoys and embraces change.
Even so, it seems to me that QVC's constant changes are clumsy, poorly designed, technically unstable...  and they provide essentially no direct tech support to their customers...   altogether a puzzling pattern for such a major corporation.

I agree with you completely.  Great post!😊

@loriqvc I don't have the reloading problem.  Maybe it's your browser/computer.  I have safari/macbook.  I have had other issues of course.  For example, very hard to leave reviews.  There was a time when reviews were not visible, but maybe they fixed that.

Re: Website format: STOP CHANGING IT!!

@NYCLatinaMe - Almost all of the pages for this site reload multiple times before being completely loaded on every browser; this is the way they are built. It doesn't mean a page keeps refreshing or hangs or stops—it simply means if you're watching carefully, you'll see little changes and movements of content in various areas on the screen (such as banners or menus) in the seconds or parts of seconds it takes for the page to be fully loaded and set. Typically, this causes no problems at all, but tech savvy users easily notice this lazy workmanship and poor development/programming.

Re: Website format: STOP CHANGING IT!!

One day there's a livestream link right there in the middle of the homepage, and another day you have to look for the link.  One day items recently on air are right there on the homepage, and another day you have to look for the link.  It's like they can't make up their minds.  Make a decision, QVC!
