Oh please. The OP sounds like a girl in middle school. It's time the alleged bullies and everyone else grow up and grow a thick skin. Anyone who lets some other anonymous poster upset them just needs to get a life and move on.
Yes, this is harsh but it should be. Come on, people. We're all adults. If you don't like what someone posts, put them on ignore and you won't have to see them again. Otherwise, let it go. It's not a big deal, it's anonymous.
p.s. It's been 2-3 years since I read a post that I thought was inappropriate on these forums. There used to be one poster who was very nasty but I haven't seen her in a loooong time.

She's good at giving out orders, directions, and accusations. Wants to make the rules but expects others to play by them while she has a different set for herself.

There's a group here--many posting at same time--that seem to think their role in life is board police telling others to mind their manners or they question one's upbringing. It's getting old, and I think something should be done about it. In their righteous attempts, they're the ones who come across as bullies, yet webbie just sits back and selectively poofs.
The ones that I think are a tad amusing are those that always have to come to the defense of the host and/or QVC and chastise anyone that gives any type of constructive criticism. And they lash out at the other poster with extremely ugly comments even worse than what was said about the host or QVC....I guess they think their bullying is justified because they were defending a host or QVC! ...You can state an opposing opinion WITHOUT including a dig at someone that may have a difference of opinion ....they are just as bad and are the real bullies because they fan the flames....JMHO.

Be careful what you wish for; an over-moderated board could ultimately disappoint you and everyone.
I honestly think you should not participate on a board anywhere if this type of cyber-conversation really bothers you. If anyone is hypersensitive to anonymous postings on an internet board I can not imagine how they interact with others in the real, physical world; "She looked at me wrong!"

I'm sick of some of us being deleted for expressing an opinion. You should let the Holier than thou posters know that it's a free forum and as long as we meet the terms of service, anything goes!
I'm glad you clarified because I thought you were asking for more.
I get what you're saying. Some posters get their panties in a bunch if you disagree with them. They take it as an insult or bullying when it was just another opinion. I don't get why people are like that but I can't let it bother me.
On the flip side, this is a private website and Q can do anything it wants. There is no censorship here since it's a private site. Webbies likely don't have degrees in psychology and I'll bet they don't get paid enough to address the crazies on in these forums. It's easier for Q to just delete than to deal with adults who are acting like junior high school students.
Of course there can be and there IS censorship on a private site. There is controlling of information. What do you think that is?

Real censorship is the suppression of free speech. Free speech means you can say and write what you want in public and the government can't come after you for it. It does not mean there aren't any consequences. People may not like what is said or may react against what is said. People might lose their jobs. Families might get mad at someone. Or in this case, the owner of the forums might delete posts or whole strings of posts. And so on. This is a private website and the owner of the website can do anything it wants with it without having to answer to anyone for it.

Your right CALMIN even some of the no holds barred websites have rules, so as a private company that owns these forums they are in charge and they can run it as they like .... And if some think it's bad here, you should read some of the things written on some of these other websites about QVC/Hosts/Vendors....OY!!!
Just for fun here are the rules from one of those no holds barred website---
Just curious, which would everyone prefer--- QVC's current Standards and Rules or these....I also like the way they end their rules with "ENJOY"!

And here they are---
Use the report icon (triangle icon) on the bottom on any troublesome post. This is a private message that goes to the whole mod team and references the post in question so we can collectively have a look.
If you find that another member's posts are not breaking the rules, yet their opinions clash with yours, use the "Ignore User" feature to ignore their postings. This feature is located under "My Settings" -> "Ignore Preferences".
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send (the mod)a private message.
Enjoy!

Nope, I'm not the pot or the kettle. I know I may occasionally get a bit out of line but most of the time I'm sticking up for people being share their opinions...it's just a shame that too many don't do so in an adult matter.....and people need to stop taking things so personally by anonymous posters.

I agree that it's a shame that we even have to stick up or defend people for sharing their opinions or views.
