Really????
Am happy for the family.... I think anybody who can stay home with baby, should do it!! I always found it so heart breaking for parents to hear that the baby turned over for the first time, said a "word" or took a first step at the day care facility!! Obviously not all parents can stay home, but there is nothing like being with your baby for the first years of life!!

I will be missing Shawn but I am sure she will be having a good summer with her new family member!
Best wishes to you and your family, Shawn!

I'm happy for Joe & Shawn with their new baby and all the joy a baby brings. However, Shawn has waited a long long time for a baby and may wish to take time from her career to enjoy these wonderful years.
I never watch nor enjoy Shawn's shows, so I won't miss her if she does so.

Qvc will go on nicely while Shawn is out on her maternity leave.

As time goes by and she really bonds with the baby she may rethink her decision to return to QVC. SHe has plenty of time to,decide but may decide that returning to the high stress job at QVC with the odd hours is not what she wants.

Shawn said she won't be on Q most of the summer. Who knows what that means. Just because she says that now, doesn't mean her mind won't be changed later.

What an antiquated idea...lol Perhaps Joe will rethink his decision to work and decide to be a stay at home dad. It's more than likely that they'll both keep the careers they have worked so ard to build..and their salaries and hire a babysitter and make it work. Like people do today.
