I agree!! Pat seems to be the worse when hosting with Jayne. She giggles at NOTHING!! I have to turn them off when they start that giggle fest.

I enjoy when Pat is hosting a show .... it's good to laugh .... the OP sounds angry and not a happy person ... perhaps Pat laughing is not what really is bothering her? .... If I watch any TV program that makes my pressure go up I just change the channel .... I hold the remote & no one forces me to watch a program ..... enjoy yourself as life is too short and getting " pissed" because a host is laughing is not important.

Oh, January, give it a rest.  How on earth can you imagine the OP is angry and not happy?  A reflection, maybe?

Geez!  Why are you people so ugly?  If you find the host so annoying then stop watching.  I would not worry about what Isaac is thinking, he is a grown man who can take care of himself in any situation.  Remember Thumper in Bambi? "if you can't say something nice then don't say nothing at all".

I grew up with a lot of quotes. This was one of my mom's favoite quotes.  I think mom understood that "one liners" worked better with kids than long lectures.

Imo, Pat has come a long way since her divorce.  I have often wondered if her husband was an emotional abuser.  I can't say that for sure, but I have seen her confidence go way up in the last few years.  We all have areas in our lives that need some work whether we think so or not.

Why is it when someone points out a bothersome trait of a host or vendor, (giggling, loud, preaching, talking, immature behavior, etc.) some people feel the need to criticize the poster.  Posters are accused of being angry, unhappy, jealous, mean, on and on.  That makes no sense to me.  We as posters do not know each other and have no idea about anyone's frame of mind or motives.

What can be observed are the bothersome traits mentioned and as long as there is no name calling of these hosts and vendors, I don't see a problem.

As to the giggling, I believe that is a nervous habit.  Pat seems like a mature sensible woman.  She doesn't seem to giggle as much when she hosts alone.

IMO it's because what's irritating is in the eye of the beholder, AND some people adore (as in unhealthy obsession) certain hosts, watching them literally every day, coming to think of them as BFFs.

"This irritates me" and "Well it doesn't irritate ME!" Are never enough. There apparently "needs" to be hyperbole on both ends of the spectrum. Some people crave it.

While I get that many are bothered by the simplist things    that make really no difference to their workd, I will never get it.  Going through life with things that don't really matter bothing you has to cut down on your enjoyment of life.  When I would complain about some dumb thing, my mother would alwqys always say "and this directly affects you how? and look at  the time you just wasted when you could have been enjoying life!!"

Yes, I believe you are correct, moonchilde.  I have noticed with one host in particular that those who find her characteristics intolerable are very vocal and those who are her defenders become very hostile towards the opposition.  In both cases no one knows the real person.

We all have our peeves, large and small.  And I have no problem with the concept of venting per se - I do it, most people do it. But I keep the little things to myself. I have never felt the need to share them, because I know that what bothers me may not bother others, so what's the point.

As far as this forum, or any other forum - those who speak to what they don't like (rants are by nature "don't like" issues) HAVE to know that not everyone will agree with them, so IMO they had better be prepared for that fact before they ever put fingers to keyboard. The world doesn't have time for "my opinion is okay, yours isn't." Not liking an opinion is one thing - not acknowledging the right of others to have differing opinions without insulting them is a different thing.

This is my own opinion ! Nobody has to agree or disagree!

I find it so annoying when the hosts mostly (Pat) laughs at their own dumb comments! Most of the time it is a snickering giggle about something ridiculous! I was watching Pat and Issac awhile ago, and he just stared at her while she cackled over some remark she made! He look embarrassed for her! đź’™ him!  I know I know....everyone is saying, " change the channel", which I finally could not take it anymore and did! Geeeeze.. ok I'm done venting! Have a good day! đź‘€

So, maybe he was just waiting for some quiet after she finished so he could get on with the product description.  That's what people do when they have a conversation.  No need to insert a judgment into his "stare."
