I always watch and buy from Valerie Parr Hill on QVC.  Since they are her products it is always good to hear her describe them.  Also it is so helpful for her to show as much as she can in the time allotted as to where these items can be used and with what other items.  Unfortunately some of the hosts do not give Valerie a chance to do this as they are constantly talking.  This is also a problem when you can tell the hosts don't have any idea about decorating so it is especially important to get the necessary decorating ideas from Valerie.  Since Valerie isn't on that much during the year it is a must to get this information when her shows are on.  I like Sandra but she unfortunately likes to be talking all the time and now I see she is on not one but two of the shows Valerie has on this weekend.  I also like Jennifer but this seems to happen when she is on with Valerie also.  Would you please just help us Val Pals out and consider who you put with Valerie when she is on.  Some of the other hosts aren't that into decorating but they do good with Valerie because they give her the opportunity to describe the items and show where they can be placed or how used.  It is just sad when we tune in to watch and shop with Valerie and see her just standing there with her mouth closed because she isn't given the chance to talk about her items or when she does speak she keeps getting interrupted by the host.  Thank you for any consideration in this matter.

Unfortunately you can apply this post complaint to many other hosts.  Often people comment about a host monopolizing the show, interrupting the vendor, constantly pushing the old weary selling points and basically being rude.  I am not going to name anyone but this is how the shows operate and no matter how many complaints, nothing changes. You will be told to not watch, put it on mute, shop the Q on line

I am sure a poster can provide a person or site for you to comment to, while many will agree with your post, no one can change the format but the leadership.

If you really, really, really want any of Valerie's items, wouldn't you purchase,  regardless of host.

This doesn't seem to come from a real Valerie fan, but from a host-basher in disguise.

In my opinion, they should always schedule Valerie with either Rick or Jayne Brown. And since there are so many sell-outs when these hosts are with Valerie, I can't imagine why QVC wouldn't use them more.  I'm not much of a fan of Sandra, so I'll just check Items Previously on line.  If I miss out on something, so be it.

Valerie doesn't design her items.  She just buys them " as is" and sells them under her name.

What is there really to say about items that are for a decorative purpose only?

She is not a designer and I am sure the QVC has a design team who puts out her displays to show them in a pretty way.

All the hosts have a producer who speaks to them in their ear while they are presenting.

I can't imagine how difficult it is to present something, listen to the vendor and the producer at the same time and talk about the item.

When you see something presented, you either like it or not.  If you like it and buy it, you will find a place for it with or without decorating ideas.

@Carmie  She's not a designer? Just plays one on TV, I suppose.

Rick used to be good with VPH but not so much lately.  He's so loud and busy that VPH just smiles sweetly and lets him do his thing.

@ValuSkr   She has written  a book about holiday decor, but has no formal education in decor design.

She first came to QVC selling wreaths made by others.  From there she branched out by selling home decor.  She does not design her items, but buys them from China just like many other home decor stores.

@Carmie

I appreciate your reply bc I've always said that. Isn't she technically just a buyer? Her only role would be picking out that seasons items & colors. She explains it, sets it on a mirror gives it a candle and bingo. I don't mean to sound hateful at all bc I've got plenty of VPH items however, you can find 95% of her things at Hobby Lobby. Her name is not on them but an identical item.

@ErmaJean, unfortunately I tend to agree with your post. In fact, in my opinion one of the host you mentioned is the absolute worst choice to pair with Valerie. And I have a sneaking suspicion Valerie is not a fan of that pairing either.

When I really, really, really want a VPH item, the host makes zero difference to me.
