Thankfully, I've had very few issues with any mail carriers. Even FedEx always gives me great service! Here, USPS has an outside contractor to deliver packages and they deliver 7 days a week. There have been times when the contractor was delivering at exactly the same time the regular carrier was putting mail in the box. I actually have more issues with the regular carrier delivering mail than I've had with any carrier delivering packages. There are days that I get notices of what will be delivered in a given day and either never arrive or arrive 2-3 days afterwards. I don't consider this to be a vendor issue, but more of a local USPS issue.

Yes...I despise USPS bringing my Cheryl's Cookie orders. They sit in my town's P.O. bldg.....then apparently when their mail vehicles feel like it, they bring my cookies in their 'hot' cars.

Add me to the list that does not have a problem with the USPS delivery. Out in all kinds of weather, on time (we have the preview of what is to be delivered), nicest people that deliver the mail. awesome!

I have never had any issues with mail or packages from USPS avd I have never received a damaged package from the USPS. UPS on the other hand, destroys packages. Ripped bags, broken boxes.

@Grinstead Comparing Amazon to the USPS is like comparing apples and oranges. Why can't the USPS deliver your packages??

@Grinstead I don't always have issues with USPS, but when I do it's a lulu. I ordered a pair of pants from New Jersey May 4, they were scanned at post office May 5. This company is quick and usually recoeved in 3-4 days. Well no pkg by today. Checked again, and guess where they are? Puerto Rico. Yes, they have been wandering around Puerto Rico for three days, are now in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Headed to San Juan

@Teddixat I would add UPS packages are the most dirty, filthy bags. My hands are also soiled. I recall a poster said she opens things in the garage as so bad.
I have some boxes that look like an accordion and even tire tracks on a box. I don't seem to have that issue with USPS. Both have nice delivery staff and they can't control what happens very much either in shipping.

Please, for the love of having satisfied customers, STOP USING USPS! This is the second time in less than 2 months that UPS has handed my package to our local USPS and I NEVER got it. It's so frustrating USPS claimed they delivered it, but as soon as I got the notification, I went to my mailbox, and it was not there. What a disappointment all around. I spoke with QVC customer service and they told me they'd send another item. but would charge me the FULL PRICE not the TSV price. What the...? I told them to just refund me. I may taper off buying from them after gettting done like this twice.

July is coming and mailing packages will increase.
If possible shop local . Prices will continue to increase . Maybe just stop purchasing items would help .
I also order online and my purchases have come within the time period indicated . There is no free shipping . It is all calculated in the cost of the item. I have cut down on ordering , but that is only me . Things are expensive and I cannot afford to order items the way I did before.

my last purchase of a pair of pants was sent USPS. It comes from a shop in NJ. Shop there years, always pkg come in a few days, depending on when mailed out. Well, last one is still In San Juan. Yes San Juan, Puerto Rico! The vendors were right on it as I checked tracking day it was due to arrive and didn't. They sent replacement, and lost. I mean what are the odds? Then 3rd one sent ..FedEx , and it came. She said last 2 months they had issues with USPS, but never wound up in San Juan. I'm in California. By the way it has been a couple weeks, and package is still in San Juan.
I just looked this up and although the USPS will not disclose their misload rate ,...UPS and FedEx does disclose it. They said there is a misload rate of 25%PER DAY for UPS. Which is 150,000 pkgs PERDAY that are misloaded, sent to other destinations by mistake ..every single day.
