Using Gift Card & Easy Payments

I would like the Q, to let us use the easy pay (when offered), and use a gift card - same purchase.

I have a $50 gift card that I would like to use when buying a handbag.

(Which has easy pay).

Both cannot be used, I've tried twice.

They won't be able to guaranty future payments if you use a gift card.  You have to use a credit card to take advantage of easy pay.

I think she means that if she wants to buy something for $100 and has a $50 gift card, then she would like the remaining balance to be on easy pay if easy pay is offered. I may be wrong though. ☺️

Re: Using Gift Card & Easy Payments

Hi, yes that's it.  Say if easy pay was offered, and I had a $50 gift card.

And, it's a $200 bag.

After I use my gift card, why couldn't I get easy pay.

I think it does work that way if you have credit on file.

PS - I buy gift cards because my grocery store offers double points to use

in lowering the cost of gas.

I really go nuts when it's 4X the fuel points.

I think you might have to use a debit or credit card to set up Easy Pay and once that's done you should be able to appy the gift card to one or two payments (according to the amount of the montly easypayments).

You can use a gift card and easy pay.  The gift card amount is deducted from the total and then the balance would be on easy pay.  Example order total is $300.  You use a $50 gift card.  The balance of $250 would be on easy pay.

You may use a gift card and also receive easy pay if you apply the gift card at the time of purchase. In other words, the amount of the gift card would come off the total and then the remaining amount would be broken up in equal monthly payments...

Hi Beth,

Thanks, but I tried that twice.

I used the gift card, then tried the divided monthly payments.

It would not let me continue on.
