Re: Update on the Ignore button feature

I don't understand why it is difficult to just ignore the offensive ones and move around them.

Be honest, don't you do it daily in real-time?

To Keyai @QVC  -- you (and other administrators) could benefit from a grammar review:

Sentence reads better like this: "This feature allowed you to select forum posters whose posts you did not wish to see."   Your way is awkward.

I'm not sure why it bothers you or anyone else if people want this feature? Some people do. Big deal. I don't need one but I don't  begrudge others that want it since it doesn't affect me one way or another.

Have you ever heard what assuming does to someone?  You've jumped to some very erroneous assumptions.  Better luck next time.

Thanks for the correction. I edited to the post to reflect your wording which is definitely not as awkwardly written as I had initially posted.

In some ways, this new format seems rather unsophisticated (obsolete?).  I wonder if QVC knew what they were getting into.  The previous format was infinitely better.  But that's OK, I am more productive with my time these days!  (Thanks for the update about "ignore".  I agree - "bummer").

It's very clunky.  For example, quoting and editing require more steps than is necessary.  Despite the addition of some nice features (of which the emoticons are defintely not one...) I have to agree the boards seem more labor intensive than they need to be.

I agree with you. I never used this feature in the old forums and, overall, preferred to just skip over posts and posters of my choosing.  Still, for those who value and miss it, I can't see that it would hurt anything to have it...  It's another option and I'm all for options!
