If moderators are going to use the justification of “unkind to our host” to remove threads, then there should be an amendment to the guidelines stating that speaking negatively about or criticizing the job performance of any host is not permitted, and that phrase should be used consistently, not intermittently.

It’s already a part of the “Community Guidelines,” @MaryLamb:

Controversial topics will be removed – Discussions of a controversial or confrontational nature will be removed at our discretion.   The following are examples of topics that generally create a negative dialogue between Community members which will result in removal of the discussion and possible banning:   current events, politics, religion, and unkind comments about hosts, vendors, models, or employees...”

@MaryLamb Actually there are many critical posts that ARE allowed. I've seen nasty ones that are removed.

Many of  the ones left up are not nasty or snarky but are civil, though critical.

I just wonder when they're going to remove some hosts and vendors for being "unkind" to customers?

Folks, if anyone ever calls you a “sour” instead of a “sore” loser, sit back and enjoy the irony.

Don't see the so-called irony, but OK.  Sore/sour.  Potatoe/potato.  Whatever.
