@mazik  Me too!  I thought that was crazy advertising when they made those copy boots called Lamo.  It's too close to L(long a) mo.

Then you'll hear a lot of complaints about how expensive they are.

There are many places b/m stores, Internet sites that sell UGGS.  Don't understand why people have a need for QVC to sell them.

JMO, I don't think UGGS want anything to do w/QVC.

All I remember about Uggs was on a episode of "What Not to Wear". Clinton Kelly wondered why people would wear "baked potatoes" on their feet when there were so many fabulous boots on the market. That did it for me.

We need to tell Clinton it's comfort comfort comfort~!  I wear them around the house and they are the most comfortable "slipper" (Mini Bailey) that I've ever had.  I've tried a couple of off brands that were real suede and real shearling inside but they didn't feel the same at all.... and didn't last anywhere near as long.  I'm STILL wearing a pair that I got 5 years ago and I wear them every day!  They're wearing, but they're still not worn out and still feel incredible....

THAT's the reason people wear potatos on their feet.... ROFL Woman LOL

I know you all do not want to hear this but the animal is skinned alive to make every pair of UGGS.

Buy Lamo's  instead, you cannot tell the difference!

On the UGG Facebook Website:

At UGG, we want consumers to know about the sheepskin used in our products. We are among the leaders in ethical supply chain for consumer goods, and particularly the sourcing of sheepskin. UGG does not use sheepskin unless it is a byproduct of the meat industry, and we actively condemn the practice of mulesing. For more detailed information, please go to: http://www.deckers.com/…/corporate-responsib…/animal-welfare

Another reason to avoid the cheaper brands because this kind of horror IS out there!!
But not with UGGS Brand.....

I hit the jackpot a couple of weeks ago when I found a pair of UGGS SLIPPERS at SIERRA TRADING POST. They had one color and one size..MINE! I grabbed them. Now that turkey day is over, I'm wearing my comfy robe and my beautiful half-price UGGS. They're trimmed in beautiful trapunto ribbon and are soft and cuddly...one of my greatest all-time bargains.
