I brought several toys this year only to find out that the packaging of some to be horrible. Children love to tear open wrapping paper on Christmas to find a toy displayed in some type of packaging not in plain cardboard boxes and plastic bags. What was truly mind blowing was the plastic bags from Gund with toys inside that are geared for young kids. The warning is there, however if you don't remove it from the bag and put it in another box or gift bag a parent will have to be extra carefull when the child opens these gifts (keep a close eye on). Plain cardboard boxes for the Hexbugs and trainset I brought are also not hit.
Colorful packing is key when marketing parents & kids. Not brown cardboard boxes and plastic bags.
