Why is necessary to see today's special value during in the kitchen with David when it is not a kitchen item. It has been on twice for a half hour each time. One hour prior and one hour after the program, today's special is seen. David's program ends up.being on 3 hrs.

@cg25,  the excessive time spent on a TSV as you outlined has become common.

As to presenting a vacuum in a kitchen show I use my vacuum in the kitchen and every other room in the house.

I agree with OP on the excessive showing of the TSV. And what I've noticed is when the TSV, whatever it is, is a high-priced item then they really run it into the ground.  Good grief, I think a prime example of this was that Ecoflow power station awhile back. It was constantly being shown and even so for days after it was the TSV!

@Marp   My vacuum and the old-fashioned tool, my broom!

@cg25   My question would be what can David sell you and others to make up the income they'd lose by eliminating the hour of the TSV?  David usually manages to sell hundreds of them no matter which of his shows include the TSV.

@millieshops,  I think TPTB would be a bigger threat to adopting that idea than David would.

I don't recall him ever wearing short sleeves so that would complicate the slathering presentation.

Probably because he's a good salesman and has a following.
