Time in transit

I have expanded my shopping online. I have also noticed that my orders come in within a week from Amazon, HSN, Fab, Overstock. And smaller companies. They also cost less for shipping and handling, most time none or very little! Why does it take so much time and at a higher cost for QVC to send things? QVC is the reason I have learned toshop online. They are losing a lot of my business as I can oftentimes get the same product cheaper and faster than they offer! Wake up, times are changing.
