Can you lose the the expansive white set.  It's too big.  The brown, wooden one looked much better especially for the presentation of clothes.  The cameraperson was able to get better close-up shots. Also, lose the shabby chic sofa.

Further, most of the hosts do not need the vendor with them. The vendor offers nothing to the presentation.  One vendor did not even know the colors of the product.  Example, Carolyn Gracie can soar and do an exemplary of D&C on her own.

I have to laugh at these personal requests.  Woman LOL

I don't really know about the set - although I certainly know one reason I virtually never watch HSN for more than 30 seconds at a time is that their sets are horrific -  way too crowded for my old eyes -- but no vendors?  Never happen!

Can you imagine Linea with no Louis or WEN with no Chaz?  Those 2 come to mind first for me even though I don't watch either of them  (I buy Wen, but don't need Chaz any longer).

And plenty of posters complain that the hosts don't talk enough, let alone having them just disappear.

Finally, if anyone has ever had a job for which you had to talk practically nonstop for an hour or two or three, you know why they've added a second host or a vendor.

Seriously? That "request" is just too darn funny!

If you think HSN sets are bad -- and they are -- take a look at Evine. Someone said it looks as if they shot it in someone's basement with the neighbors as hosts. Seriously, it's that bad!

Ok, I'll chime in with my wishes.  I wish that the vendor did all the talking describing the product and the hosts only did the routine stuff, like color choices, etc.  Who knows more about the product than the vendor?  The hosts, too often, try to show their knowledge, rather than deferring to the vendor.

But in reality, I'm fine with the way things are.  Set and all.

New set-that explains why the models were slipping all over the slippery floor during Isaac's show last night!!

I can take or leave the sets.  I wish they'd put all energy into bringing more variety instead of focusing on how things look.  A Dyson and Denim & Co. pants are going to look and function the same no matter what the set looks like.

I agree that some vendors may as well not be there, yet there are some vendors who can fly solo without the need of an annoying host by their side.  Seems like I do enjoy watching more when there are fewer people on screen.
