I was recently wondering when they stopped the wire baskets as well as removing the brown/chocolate rim from all of them..

I love old-world temptations in green.  Last Sunday you had large pasta bowls but nothing in old-world green.  Any chance that it will be sold soon?

Wonder why there are so few patterns now. I have a set that's I would say is a variation of the old world pattern in sage and mustard yellow and pineapples. Would love to see it again. Another with sunflowers, and another called vinyard. Polka dots were very popular. Nothing she sells right now tempts me at all. I could be with new designs.

This is a line of products that I will never buy, regardless of design, color, shape, etc., as overall the brand is not a quality product for baking.

If you want cute serving pieces or dinnerware, this brand qualifies for that.  If you want durable bakeware, my suggestion is put your money on Pyrex or Anchor Hocking.  Quality control on this bakeware is very poor; it starts with tiny cracks which increase with heat exposure and then one day the piece breaks apart.  Very long history of this breakage pattern.

I was gifted several pieces of bakeware that are 10+ years old and have never been in my oven, they are used only for serving pieces.  They have no chips or cracks.   I would never have bought these pieces, but they are right sizes for serving, so I do use them on occasion.

I do not encourage my family and friends as far as buying this line.

I have never had a piece break on me. I use it in the oven always. It would make sense if they were made cheaper today. Most everything is. So no I don't plan to but any more. Too bad though, earlier pieces were nicely made.

Temptations - made in China JUNK. ALL of my bakeware and serving pieces sre from Portugal and Italy. I've had these pieces for at least 10 years - no chipping, cracking, crazing, etc.

Haven't bought any Temptations in ages, and all that I have that are left, are used as flower pots ( bowls) or for under plants (lid-its and bakers).

I would NEVER trust them in the oven. I've said many times ...I hold my breath when I see Tara remove a large baker with 10 pounds of boiling lasagna from the QVC oven and walk over to the display area...hoping it doesn't crack and break in half spilling that hot glop all down her front....

BUT...I did have a few of those wire baskets, with the woven mats in them. I put one out in the garbage last week, on top of some clean cardboard boxes, and just happened to see the garbage man, a young guy, pick the wire basket up, turn if over and look at it, and put it in the cab of his truck to save!!!

He LIKED it!!

I felt good it will get a second use somewhere....the baskets were nice, but too cluttery for me now....I had used it as an "in basket" type thing for mail.

My original pieces which I purchased many, many years ago are the only items that have withstood the test of time.  I have an 8 x 8 baker with a wire stand and removable trivet that I have used hundreds of times.  It looks like new.  However, items I purchased in the past 8 years or so don't feel the same and have had a number of issues.  Visible gray/hairline striation and the sound that the item had an internal crack.  I will not purchase again for that reason and also the line has become less than sophisticated or classy.  Not interested in child-like characters and sayings on my dinnerware.  I like to set a nice table for my family.

I just saw Temptations at an oddlot type discount store.

They were dinnerware sets broken up for piece by piece sale.

You could put together a 12 piece set for probably about $25, well below full retail at QVC, mixing colors if you like.
