Well, it's official, I just threw away my last piece of the Techniques cookware set I purchased from QVC a year ago, I'm not really into eating the coating that is flaking off in the pans. I always used wooded or plastic utensils and although the claim was you can place the pans in the dishwasher I hand washed them. The presentation stated they were tested with a machine that whirls metal around the bottoms and no flaking. I seriously don't know how the makers of Technique cookware can make that claim. Never again, this cookware is junk. My suggestion QVC, get rid of this terrible cookware, buyer beware!
