May I suggest that David and Alberti please slow down? I was watching David yesterday and had no idea what he was saying because he was speed-talkng! Jane Brown doesn't talk fast, and she is most likely the most beloved host.

@Dashh. I agree, Alberti talks so fast, I get exhausted just listening to him.  He seems to have assumed Kristen's role as chief speed talker.

I no longer watch him unless it's on mute

@Dashh I like both Jayne Brown & Pat.  They are the calmest hosts and yet they get all important information across!

I never watch Alberti I check his show products online. I don't usually have a problem with David's presentations.

I wonder what happens to the hosts over time.  When Alberti first started, I was so impressed with his demeanor and knowledge.  I think he was selling jewelry.  But so many hosts start out that way and just morph into something unwatchable.  Why???

I find Sandra to be the worst with the speed-talking or def. in the top three (and interrupting).

Yeah, at least with Alberti, it looks like he hits the brakes before interrupting others.
If I went into a car dealership or a clothing store and a salesperson came at me with guns-a-blazing (like some of the hosts), I'd be like, "ummm...I'm outta here!"

I've often though the same thing.  Many of the new hosts are great.  Maybe a little unsure or nervous, but they usually do a better job of explaining the items than many of the established hosts who are too busy going on about themselves.

I think that QVC has been "encouraging" them to be "entertaining" and "energetic" once they hit the main channel.

I do like Alberti, but sometimes he's just a little too "energetic" for me, like many others.

David talks a mile a minute---sometimes it's hard to figure out what the heck he is saying---that and adding lovely to everything---not a fan

@kaydee50   @geezerette

That's an easy one .... new hosts are "in training" for a while.  Sometimes they start out on late night shows, or work with another host.

The new hosts also sit with a producer while they replay their participation and critique what they could have done differently.

They do more shows and they are also reviewed, until they have it right.

Perhaps the producers (or sales trainers) tell them to "not talk so slowly"  rather than "talk faster".
