ENOUGH ALREADY!!! After the first few presentations, I got it! I'll be hearing ALEXA ALEXA ALEXA in my sleep tonite. So annoying! There has to be a better way to sell a TSV instead of droning on all day w/ similar demonstrations. Maybe have a quick 3 minute reminder of the TSV every hour or 2. Anyone who's watching the Q will catch it. If they decide to purchase, GREAT. If not, the rest of us don't have to hear ALEXA ALEXA ALEXA all day!!!!!

I can't imagine watching QVC all day.

Watching QVC on weekends has become a non-issue because it's not watchable.   It's a 24 hour infomercial for the TSV both days.

Alexa is sold out!

It's only available on waitlist.

QVC picked up TONS of first time buyers.

Looks like another very successful day for QVC.

I guess they didn't know they were doing it all wrong.

I'm not interested in this item and, like you, find the presentations annoying. But 30 minutes or 3 minutes wouldn't matter, I'm not sitting through presentations of TSV's I haven't or will not possibly consider buying under any circumstances.

And I'll add I've watched a TSV presented repeatedly throughout a day when I AM interested in it.

That's how it goes. Everyday isn't about me . . . or you.

Those presentations are not meant for steady watching (although I did watch several of them because I wanted to know more) but rather for the channel surfers.  It appears that works due to the high  number of first time purchasers!!  This is a business not anyone's personal entertainment and the goal is sales.  OP obviously wasn't interested in purchasing so why keep watching unless her tv has no way to change channels or off button.  How horrible that QVC caused such a problem for OP!!

In response to those who thought I could ever watch QVC ALL day! I had the TV on while  I spent yesterday baking & the remote next to my mixer....just in case a show came on I wanted to watch. I spotted this "thing" & had no idea what it was & regrettably turned on the sound. That's when I kept hearing the host asking questions to ALEXA!!!!  I hit the mute button within minutes. During the day, every time I looked up, there seemed to be another host w/ another presentation of this annoying TSV. Did I put the sound on again? What do YOU think? If it sold out. Good for the Q and bad for us. It just reinforced that infomercial selling works!!!!

@Shanus

Unfortunately, that's how the thing works!  You HAVE to keep saying her name!

My DD has a small Alexa she brought down to play Christmas music on while we were decorating the tree.

"Alexa this, Alexa that"  You MUST keep saying her name.  I think she takes a lot of naps or something!  I was so sick of hearing her name as well!  By the way, sometimes she is NOT very bright, which requires you to say her name AGAIN to get a correction.

My DD loves this silly thing...I found it incompetent!  I suppose it gives you someone to talk to?  Took several repeats to get the proper action you were looking for.

It is not my thing either so I get your frustration.  What I don't get is why you didn't change the channel!

I would rather watch rerun's of HEE HAW while I bake than listen to a repetitive TSV I have no interest in purchasing!  It reminds me of the IPhone gal...Sirri?  Is that her name I kept hearing people yell a million times into their phone?

To me "Echo" is another pricey gimmick.  You can get all the information you ask her right on the computer.  Are we turning into such a lazy society that we have to talk to Alexa?  Also, you can not be far from it so that means you have to carry it from room to room to use.  What a pain.  I can think of many other ways to spend $150.  Next year this will be old hat.  Goggle makes one too and you don't have to call it Alexa.  Of course this is just my humble opinion!
