Sweaters made in Ireland --I need a larger size--why don't they make them?

@palermolady  You bring up a good point.  I've been to Ireland and have to say I never saw a size bigger than an XL in any of the stores, and even those could be hard to come by.  Made shopping for some family members difficult.    I also found that in other places in Europe.   If it's any consolation the sweaters due tend to run a tad big.  I would be sure to purchase a relaxed style.

They are very bulky, that is why they are so warm and long lasting.  I have several.  Could be they are aware they would not flatter that body type.

 

For me the sleeves are always long too.

I agree with the OP. There are never any wool sweaters in larger plus sizes offered.
