I have many Dooneys. Yay, a Dooney show on with some new bags, it seems.

Then the host and vendor call the bags "she".

Click.
Turned it off immediately.

Stop. They are bags. They are not "she", they are "it".

Stop.

@Quse Totally. I want to barf when they start that c88p. So insane sounding! ps. Love me a Dooney bag too. But yeah, they call everything "she" these days from bags to Isaac sweaters, to Jane the other night with her beloved Clarks sandals. Please. Stop. Just stop.

And yes, y'all...we KNOW there are more important problems in the world. Still. Stop. ✋

Since male hosts are wearing and modeling "she" bags and "she" clothes, why are they still calling them "she"????

i agree^^^

i am sure they think its a sales tactic/pitch that will endear u to the item.

to me, its just so off putting and yes 'moronification & infantilization'.

Stacy Rush does that a lot with clothing and it just rubs me the wrong way.

UGH!  find a new pitch, please!!!

I don't care what pronoun anyone uses for inanimate objects. It's so low on any list of priorities, no matter who you are. It's not worth any angst.

Since men can captain boats, why are they calling them "she"?🙄

I believe it's old school to call something not human a she. I remember my sister in law referring to her car as a she. When she got a new car she would say "She's  a beauty".
