Please, hosts & vendors, don't put yourself down so much. What I'm talking about is the comments about the size of their hips or what they need to camoflage when they've just told us they're wearing a size 6 (Liz Clairborne vendor did it Monday morning, several times). I know everyone, no matter what size, has body parts they aren't fond of, but don't they realize how insulting that is to a larger woman to have a size 6, 8, 10 person lamenting what they have to hide. It's very discouraging. Even us larger-size ladies need to feel good about ourselves and it's pretty difficult when the skinny-minnies keep pointing out their flaws - it's like the rest of us better just cover ourselves with a tent and stay home. People gain weight for many reasons, some like health issues very difficult to control. Please, thinner ladies, don't criticize yourselves so much - be happy. It doesn't make me "bond" with you - it makes me want to shake you and say "You have nothing to complain about." And please have some empathy for your larger-size sisters.
