QVC please tell Stan to bring back his Cotton Chennille wrap robes! I have been asking for years as I have one that is 25 years old and thread bear, (A84707 Stan Herman Ultra Chenille Long Wrap Robe http://www.qvc.com/Stan-Herman-Ultra-Chenille-Long-Wrap-Robe.product.A84707.html).

I have tried his plush robes and they are very soft but also created a lot of static and were not as comfortable. If people were complaining about the quality it was due to them not washing them as directed.

@MichiGal, you might want to check out the Vermont Country Store website. They have a chenille robe that looks very much like the Stan Herman robe. They have a lavender robe with buttons (nice, wish mine had buttons!) and a tie and a turquoise robe with a sash and no buttons. They have two more chenille robes with zippers.

They seemed to have discontinued Stan's chenille robes after there was a flood of complaints about them shedding.  They seemed to have a problem finding a manufacturer  who could make a product of decent quality.   A lot of people seem to prefer the microfiber robes.

I purchased from the Vermont Country Store website the lavender robe recently. I'm happy with it, but thought it should have come with an extra button. It's the perfect robe to use after a shower!!!
