Please train your show hosts to let the designers speak without comment and talking over them.

Unfortunately this happens a lot, they get so excited they just bubble over talking. Some of the older show host's may be like me, if I don't say what I am thinking right now, I forget what I was going to say.

I agree....some of them are worse then others...and so rude as to interrupt the vendor in mid sentence....to commandeer the presentation...why bother having the vendor...that's one of the reason I barely ever tune into the Q....

AMEN!!! ...Let's see, do I want to hear what an award winning fashion designer has to say about the piece they've designed, or do I want to instead hear know-it-all Jill Bauer pontificate on fashion or jewelry or whatever. I have really liked Jill for years and up until the last 2 years have always found her to be really on her game and very polite and very informative. Often times, I could watch 5 or 6 presentations of the same item and never be given all the pertinent facts on the item until Jill did the presenting. She seems like a hard worker and intelligent. I think she is still on her game and definitely one of the better hosts but in the last year or two she seems at times have become very full of herself. I find this especially true during any home products or gardening presentation. I want to hear what Phiilip Watson or the other gentleman from Cottage Farms has to say about their plants. Instead Jill commandeers the show and barely lets them speak. She often steals their thunder and acts as if she is the expert on everything. That may be helpful with newer camera-shy guests but Phillip Watson & Co are beyond knowledgeable about the products they bring and have a very nice rapport with the camera & are very articulate. They really don't need much help from her and she needs to let them speak. Far worse yet is when someone unintelligent and inarticulate doesn't let the guests talk. This would be the perfect description of Shawn Killinger. All the cutesy hemming & hawing and bad grammar & made up words. Please shut up, Shawn and let the knowledgeable guest do the presenting in real English.

I have wondered if there is any kind of rehearsal for a presentation where the host meets with the vendor and they decide who is going to talk about what and for how long. Does anyone know? Maybe this is all determined between the host and the vendor beforehand.

I think more of the hosts dominate the entire presentation than in the past and apparently despite the complaints, QVC wants them to do this; as long as they are selling whatever is being presented, am sure they are free to drown out anyone as long as they want...but I won't be watching or buying!

I don't care if they have (most) vendors or not... There are only a few that I personally feel add anything to the proceedings, but if your're going to have them Q, enough with the hosts apologizing for the constant interruptions go give 'updates'. Who cares? I assume TPTB think those updates make us all rush to the phone. They don't.

It really is ridiculous when the host interrupts the vendor and very excitedly says, (with a hand to the ear) we have an update and we are now down to only a couple thousand left.

It seems that every item is down to a couple thousand left. Is this supposed to excite us?
