Why do hosts ( some, more than others) - skirt around the topic of sizing? Whether it be clothes or shoes,  sizing is not discussed properly. Yes there are those brands with 'main stream' sizing and then there is QVC sizing. However, the quality of things having deteriorated some, and along with it proper sizing, I believe the hosts need to address the discrepancies - if any. Be honest about the fit- instead of saying ' buy your normal size'!- Just  a thought!

I don't really care what size they wear or say they wear.  Women have done that since the beginning of time.  They've lied about their age, their hair color, surgeries (facial and body) and I could go on.  I don't see why people get so involved in all that.   My only concern is me.

@bolotara When a host says "buy your normal QVC size" it helps me. I'm usually an XS, petite if it's available. However, even when they say this I still always check the garment measurements.

I'm unclear what information you want them to tell you. When a garment runs large I have heard them say go down a size, or say it's form fitting so if you like a looser fit go up a size.

I believe it's up to the consumer to check the garment measurements since it would not only be long and drawn out for them to state all the different measurements, but it would be quite boring and probably lose many viewers.

Again, I'm not sure exactly what you are asking but I do feel certain hosts need to do less talking about "daughters" and family and Disney and just talk about the item, material, washing instructions, patterns, etc.

"Size" is really difficult to determine by looking at it.   I am under 5 feet, and my friend is 6 feet even.    We wear the SAME size.

how else are we to determine our size

I use the garment measurements chart to order Q clothing and their clothing runs big compared to the real world

They do need to give basics and they don't

When a host says a garment is true to size or buy your normal QVC size, they are just being lazy. There is no normal qvc size. The different lines they carry don't all run the same in sizing. That statement will only work if QVC standardizes their sizing across board!

If they talked about the items on air, they wouldn't have time to chit chat about family, vacations, children, or act like preteens. sarcasm

Telling me their own size does nothingf to help me decide on my size.

Sizing is one of the biggest issues with QVC's clothing.  All the different lines seem to run different.  Garment measurements are helpful when they are right.  Sometimes the garment does not measure the same as what is indicated which is a real PITA and has deterred me from ordering certain lines for quite some time now.
