I'm so Happy I'm not the only one who feels this way.. I am EXTREMELY tired of spending on an average -- an extra $10 on S&H

Slowly but surely I've been shopping more and more with HSN.. FREE S&H on great products.

If I can't find the product thru Amazon, Sephora etc, etc. then I either do without or bite the "bullet" with QVC and their "ridiculous" S&H charges!

Count me in!!!! Shipping and handling rates are sky high, particularly when you are ordering a mascara and it hardly weighs 1/2 an ounce and the S&H is 6.95 or more.

Don't be so greedy QVC!!! We can all go else where to buy our products.

I agree. The shipping along with the recent horrible quality of QVC's products has made me think twice about any purchases. I have sent back more items in the last year than I have sent back in the last 24 years of buying from them. I already pay once to have the item sent to me and then I have to pay again to send back the crummy items.

Zappos's in my experience, is not very competitive, price wise. I'm sure there are exceptions, but, I can only speak from personal experience. I strongly suspect, that at least many times, the shipping prices are factored into the item price. All of these companies are businesses that must make a profit to stay in business. Hopefully they all appreciate their customers, but, they're not going to consistently lose money, just to be nice.

The way I shop, on line, I am rarely buying more than one item. Comparing, for instance QVC, HSN, and Shop NBC, who do all run TV Networks, I find their shipping on single items to be very comparable.

I don't shop enough on line, to want to join any club and then get free shipping; fine, if I'm really going to be buying that much from them, but, it's another way to encourage more spending. The same is true of reduced shipping on multiple purchases. If I intend to buy one thing and spend $50.00, s&h $7.95, but, instead, I buy two more things, because if I spent $100 it would ship free, haven't I really spent $40+ more than I intended to?

I think we all have to know how we shop and what works best for us and shop where it makes most sense for us.

I have no problem with free shipping but, I also have no problem paying reasonable s&h. If it seems outrageous, probably a deal breaker; and yes, if I can't afford the s&h, then, it does suggest to me that I couldn't afford the item.

Yes, but no retail stores to manage, staff and stock! QVC's S&H is horrible. It's not cheap and it takes FOREVER to reach you! They don't supply a UPS or FedEx tracking email so you have some idea of where your purchase is and how soon you will get it!

Tier#1 retail stores give much better service! Often times S&H is free, it's fast and they provide tracking information!! I never have to wait 10+ days for my order. QVC needs to step it up!! Totally frustrated with the way they handle S&H.

I agree shipping and handling rates are insane for this site. They need to catch up to all the other sites offering free shipping and free returns. Nordstoms is one of them, Zappo's another. LL Bean. Seriously QVC, get with the times.
