I don't watch QVC if the host's personality grates on my nerves even if it's a product that I like. And I certainly do NOT buy because the show host. I like a host with a pleasant personality, but I am focused more on the product. I like to watch on TV to see a product demonstrated, or in the case of clothing or jewelry see how it looks on the models.

I love watching Bob Mackie and enjoy,so much hearing him discuss his designs.If the host is Jacque Gongales,I will not watch.Some hosts such as Jacque enjoy the sound of their own voice and therefore Bob cannot get in a word.So I will not be watching.The host to me does make a big difference.People generally don,t buy from people they don,t like!!

The host and his/her personality has nothing to do with what I buy. I buy what I "want" or "need," and it hasn't anything to do with the personality of the host. If I don't like a hosts personality, I'll look online and elsewhere for what I want.

I have no understanding of customers who buy b/c of a host, i.e., like LR for instance. I account for that by something akin to a teenage crush. They buy b/c they adore someone and wish to be exactly like them.

If I don't want something no matter what kind of personality a host has he or she will not get me to buy. If I like the host and she presents well I will watch the show for the info and entertainment. If I don't like a host I will not buy from them or watch them no matter how much I may want a product. My moneys good any where!
