I really wish somone could explain to me why the shipping takes so long!  I order from other vendors and nothing and I mean nothing takes as long as QVC.  One more thing a couple of Sundays ago Dan Huges was showing face coverings.  He made a comment that masks should be worn all the time.  Please Dan if you want to wear a mask all the time do so but just sell the product and keep your opinion to yourself.

@Sher1533   We get the same question repeatedly.  This post should help explain what's going on.

I do understand supply chain.  I do understand that the last year has been tough.  I have worked in SC for 27 years.  Sorry but QVC is doing a terrible job shipping items. Items should not travle the whole United States before reaching the customer.

Right. There are no other companies (whether brick and mortar or online companies) that take as long as qvc to ship items to me. I’ve ordered numerous things and had no issues from other companies. The excuse some people are making for qvc is a joke. The response is always “ you must not understand the supply chain,” or “do you have an inside connection,” etc… Qvc is the only company with supply chain issues from my experience.

There are at least a couple of reasons.

It always takes longer when vendors have to ship products for Q. I don't know if it's their contract or what but It isn't that way with many other retailers.

Q ships many things at parcel post rates which is the very slowest and lowest priority USPS mail. Parcel post often relies on third parties to move mail from place to place...and those third parties wait until it's profitable to move them.

@bewise  I see people working around here. All store and restaurants are open and have been for ages. I guess they didn't qualify for unemployment.

Businesses that are paying decent wages don't have any problem finding good employees.

I buy nothing from QVC that has delayed shipping. It usually takes up to 3 wks to ship and then another wk to receive, it's not worth it to me to have to wait a month for something I want now . Anything I have ordered from HSN I have received in a timely manner, so I don't buy QVC excuses.

Tracking for one small tee shirt bag package starts in eastern PA, travels to North NJ and for unknown reason travels to the middle of Ohio.  Final destination will be north New York State.  I suspect another week en route.  Hard to understand why the shippers select the long and winding road when fuel prices are ticking up.
