I get the impression that QVC is trying to make money with returns. Why would one order be broken down into 3 separate shipments? I ordered 2 tunics and 2 pairs of pants, all Isaac. The pants arrived in one shipment. The tunics were 2 separate shipments. So if I don't like the tunics I will be charged twice for returns? Considering how inconsistent sizing is on QVC I don't think I'll order any more clothes and get ripped off when I have to return because of sizing. I consider this a very dubious business practice. Most other companies charge one shipping and handling cost for each order or ship for free if it's over a certain amount. Most of them offer free returns.

I often order two or three of the same thing, same size, different colors at the same time.
It doesn't matter. I get charged $3 for shipping and handling even though they might be in the same package. It happens every time. I have visions of someone standing next to the same thing, different colors, reaching over and putting them into the same package. Yepper, every time.

If you chose to use the q label, you can return them all in one bag. You don't have to send them back the way they were sent to you.

There is nothing dubious bout QVC's ship[ing policies or practices.
With any product sold by QVC, consumers are told the amount the item costs, the amount it will cost to ship the item, and that appropriate taxes will be added. We are given the full total before we confirm the order.
QVC them ships the item to us in the method that is most cost-effedtive for QVC. Some times the items are combined (likely because they come from the same location in one warehouse), and sometimes they will ship separately (likely because they are stored in separate locations and/or warehouses). How this occurs is irrelevant to the consumer, and since none of us are familar with QVC's warehouse or logistic operations, anything posted about them and the shipping practices is nothing more than speculation and gossip.
As far a returns. The return labels are for consumer onvenience. Yes, they cost money to use, but for many people (especially those who are not serial returners), the convenience outweighs the price. As stated by another poster, multiple items can be shipped back in one package. Additionally, the consumer can pack items and mail on their own -- without using the label. This information is readily available and has been discussed on the boards numerous times.
To accuse QVC of being dubiou, in this instance, is unfair and dishonest.

Does everyone realize that on top of them charging you $6.95 to return your item they charge you and extra $3.00 on top of you paying $3.00 to ship it. I called and was told they have been doing it since December that it cost them more than $3.00 to ship it to you so you really pay $12.95 to return an item. I wouldn't have known but the credit went back to my checking account and I caught it. I don't think I'll be ordering anything from QVC anymore.

That's EVIL. That would explain my shrinking refunds. They don't put an itemization in your account when they indicate the return. I sent back a couple of shirts late last year in a single bag and noticed that my refund was smaller than it should be. That explains it. Thanks!
