Shipping costs

I saw a cooking item in the lunchtime specials that was under $10 which I totally would have purchased until I saw the shipping cost was $5.50 for a super small and lightweight item. I think QVC loses a lot of sales because of exorbitant shipping costs. I know when I see how the shipping adds up in my cart I usually change my mind. I suggest more free shipping promotions for Q card customers!

@5missy True. I mentally add $10 onto the price of a item to cover the shipping and tax.

I know it sounds like a lot for a $10 item but I think QVC's shipping costs are reasonable. I do a lot of online shopping and the price of shipping from some vendors is extreme. The thing is, even though the item is $10 they still have to pay someone to package it, use shipping material and then postage.

Adding the s/h cost plus the tax on the s/h has stopped me from buying more than one item from QVC. I either shop at places that have free shipping or have a minimum purchase to get free shipping. The choice is ours.

With this supply chain mess we've got now, I expect to see shipping costs increase markedly.

that's a bargain!!!! I mailed my gd and nephews easter baskets ...hardly weighed anything $42!

Shipping costs are outrageous (as I said in another post) QVC shipping is a bargain compared to UPS & USPS...

I always price check when I find something on Q that I like. I can almost always find the same thing for a lower price and with free shipping (and usually free returns) at another retailer.
