Shipping and Handling Charges

I didn't see a category about questions? My question is: When I'm watching a show I put items in my shopping cart to save until the end of the show. Then I send them in at one time so I can get the shipping and handling discount.

Now when I have done that, I go back into the shopping cart and them Item I chose sold out. I thought I was putting that on hold for myself until the end of the show.

How can you buy several items at the same time and get the discounted shipping and handling when the items you chose sold out before you could place your order.

Can someone tell me if I'm doing this wrong or is it something that just can't be done.

I have ordered several items off line at the same time and they went through as discounted S&H but that does not work when I'm watching and trying to purchase more than one item.

Help me!!!!!!!!!!!!shipping and handling is driving me to the poor house.
