Shop around.

There are a lot of retailers who don't charge shipping...whether it's free or for a certain dollar purchase. I always shop around. Almost all of the time, I find what I want for less than the total cost at Q.

@cathysyd, I agreed with you whole heartedly.

The shipping charge is a money maker for them. When I shop I look at the total cost. Many a time the shipping determines whether I make a purchase on something that is a mere whim.

I don't shop the app so how much do I detest still having to place something in my cart before I see the shipping cost!!!

I too wish they would show the shipping cost under the price on the item page es I end up canceling the order many times after seeing the shipping fee.

I do like free shipping , and it's crazy on how much places will charge for shipping. Recently I bought two fans from the BB&B/Overstock website. I spent over 49$ and got free shipping. I decided to not keep them, so I started a return. It said for one label, it would cost me 24.49, I spent a little over 58$ on both fans. So I called and the person I talked to said they no longer do free returns, unless the product is damaged or BB&Bs fault for some reason. They said I could buy a membership for only 19.99 and I could get one free return a month for the one year membership. The last time I ordered from their website was last year at this time, so I passed. I asked for a return address so I could go to USPS myself. It would have cost 20$ through UPS, but I ended paying 15.25 through the post office. I'm in Michigan and it was going to Georgia. I'm still waiting for my refund. I might have to call next week to see what's going on. In the end, I will always like free shipping and free returns, who doesn't, especially if you buy four items and get charged for every item. Today I bought four bras that were either "as is" or "final sale price" and paid shipping for all four. It only cost me 54.26 with shipping and tax. They are bras I have bought before and I know they will work. From now on I'll have to read to see what returns are like for every place I order from.
