Seeking QVC Viewer Historians

Hey, I have been watching QVC for just three years now, and I need some help from longtime viewers.

I am just done with the overexposure of Kim Gravel, and I used to like her. She is on some form of the Q every day from fashion, makeup, and home decor, and it is her that makes this maddening. Every show or feature with her is LOUD, over the top, and often very out of place.

My question is, has the Q ever had other Gravels in its 40-year history that were just so dominant and were on Q shows daily or every other day and many times during the 24-hour cycle of their shows and with this type of overhyped personality? Also, her products are expensive.

I liked Gravel, but her act and overexposure have me turning off the Q or hitting the mute button until she leaves the screen.

I am just curious if the Q ever had this type of person with their products because I see this issue as a real problem in 2026 because, unlike 1990, viewers have 1,000 more options to shop and channels to view.

Thank you for your knowledge and history in your response.

I mean seriously!  The Kim bashing now takes on HISTORICAL proportions!

They always find ways to crack me up!

Calling all of those with M.A.s in QVC Antiquity!

"Just Curious".....LOL!

What a joke.

I'm doing my thesis on QVC and I need the research help!  LOL!

This is ridiculous the vendor bashing really needs to stop

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

@Steeleranne

Have you ever  watched Susan Graver ?

She talks over all the Hosts and when on skipe it's worse.

I love Kim.  I'm so disappointed that she's not on tonight with Rachel.

I love - and have - a lot of her clothes.

Everything is more expensive these days.

Welcome @Steeleranne. I watched late 80's to about 2010. I channel surf now and saw Ms. Gravel and her schtick. Instant channel changer but I do digress. You asked if there were ever over- exposed vendors. Yes, many. One was a vendor with Bare Minerals. Every other day it seemed they were selling this (then) talc based makeup. Then there was Joan Rivers and Judith Ripka. Chaz with a cream rinse type cleanser. Too many to name.

So QVC, even with their financials in the toilet, will continue to ignore why perhaps they are failing @Steeleranne . And the same cheerleaders for Ms. Gravel will continue to see any criticism of her as a personal affront.

For the Q lovers,if you're sick of Kim be careful what you wish for. She is probably one of

if not THE vendor keeping Q from going off the air. She $ell$. Any business would continue to prominently feature a product line that generates tremendous sales.

Thank you. I know Kim has many lovers, and I like her too. I am just a different generation, and I just wanted to know if the forum of the Q had changed.
