I agree with you but I absolutely love VPH with Rick Doemier!! I think she just comes alive when she works with him! They complement each other perfectly. They are total opposites that fit together perfectly!

Me too.

I think Leah and Lisa Robertson let vendors know ahead of time when to stop talking so the host can make a point.  I don't know what the cue is, but for both of them, it just seemed like the vendor would stop and Lisa and Leah would add to or redirect them.  I'm only speculating but if so, that seems the better way to do it than interrupting.

BTW, have you ever been watching and walked into another room?  The noise coming from 2 people talking when you're in another room is something else.  Must be that having the visual helps somewhat.

I stopped watching her when she started hosting with Susan Graver on Sun. nights........she way overtalked

Susan and i didn;t think that was possible...haha.  And when they changed hosts to JC......they lost me totally on SG shows....except for when Pat hosts

I've found there are more hosts who interrupt than don't.  Some don't let vendors get a word in edgewise.  It often feels like the hosts push the presentation in a certain direction and get all their information in regardless of what the vendor is trying to say.  Sometimes it looks like the vendor is staring at the host while thinking, "What the heck am I doing here?"  In the past, interruptions didn't seem as blatant as they are now.  I would NOT want to be a vendor on QVC.

I think the one thing TPTB need to hear is what you intend to buy where you do feel listened to.

Sad to say that if those same powers tried to please me, I still will not be buying more clothes, jewelry, make-up, or home and holiday decor for the rest of this year.

I do still have 2 items on auto-delivery -  A shipment from Elemis actually arrives tomorrow.   The other product isn't scheduled until late spring of 2025 and I might have to cancel it totally.  It's PTR retinol and my well-aged skin has me using it very sporadically.

@QVC LOVER.  Here's the phone number for QVC headquarters.  Perhaps you'd like to call and make your suggestion.  I don't know any other "somebody" who'd do it.

I couldn't agree more.  That is so rude.  It seems like it is Sandra's show instead of Valerie's.  Sandra is supposed to be the host.

To be fair, I can't think of a single host that doesn't interrupt vendors or callers.  They just can't stop themselves from telling us there are 4000 can openners remaining in lime green.

Remember they have the producers in their ear pieces telling them what to say.
