I know everything seems more expensive everywhere, but these Christmas in July “sale” prices on decorations are absurd.

I can't get over the 'sale' prices for clearance items, I used to try t catch all the sale shows, but no longer pay any attention to them if all I will save is 10 or even 20% when the pricing is so inflated to start with. I did not watch any of the CIJ shows.

Q has not been known to have real sale prices for at least 9-10 years. I always price shop and can find everything I want elsewhere for less money and promo codes (worth more than the measly $20 Q offers).

I agree. I feel the same about the lunchtime specials. They used to be great pricing. Not anymore.

I've never seen any other retailer, on line or in-store, do something as bizarre as the "Clearance Sale."  They reduce the Clearance price, but only temporarily!

Most retailers Clearance items to move them out of inventory and will continue to lower the price to get ride of the stuff.  They don't want it in inventory.

Not QVC.  They seem attached.   I don't understand it, from a retail perspective.

This new thing with pricing has driven down what I buy.  I feel like the regular price is so high so they can clearance it to the actual price.  That along with the new price adjustment policy has drivem me away.  I had 2 $10 off coupons the month of July that I never used, which is rare for me.  I paid all my ez pays off on my Q card leaving only my Salmon auto delivery.  Thank goodness the fall things are coming soon, as I'm not remotely interested in those.

@Oliveandes I didn't find many items "absurd". In fact, I purchased a few items. However, I do agree many are higher priced than I would pay.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes  I can't quite understand QVC's Clearance "temporary" sales either. When the definition for clearance is basically "the action or process of removing or getting rid of something", it's very odd. On that note, I have received coupons from other retailers good for Clearance only and the coupon is for a limited time. So, I suppose it works the same but it is rare.

I remember being a young child and listening to my mom and grandma talking about how everything is so expensive. I believe forever we will discuss how expensive things are now. I never pay full price. In fact, I pay very little notice to cost of a full price item. I regularly search As Is and Clearance items as well as Bonus Buys and such. I find some great deals.

I have always had an issue with QVC's clearance prices.  You would think they would stay to clear out inventory.  I find myself shopping less now especially with not honoring price adjustments.  There are many other places to shop.

Although I did buy a couple of CIJ items, there were many more I put on my wish list to ponder for the future. I can't believe how much the prices increased today with the end of the CIJ sale! There's no way I'd buy any of those items now, even if there were a free shipping event. Fingers crossed that there's another sale of some kind in the next few months; I'm glad I don't truly need any of these things and certainly don't need them to arrive in August.
