I absolutely will not watch AN do a jewelry shows.  Her nails, to me, are a definite distraction.  Nails too long.  Colors to garish.  But I just don't let it get to me....I just don't watch her do jewelry.  (I've never seen a host with blue polish.  Guess I'm on a different watching schedule.)

Wouldn't want everybody tearing me down because I don't look what THEY think I should look like.

Couple of hosts with peculiar hair I wouldn't have, but, that doesn't bother me as much as the way they act and interact.

People like to criticize one another to much. We women have enough to overcome we shouldn't be held up by our own s*x.

Good for you!  :-)  I am what some would consider to be "older", and I wear nail polish in all different colors.  Why not!  I do my nails myself, and I get compliments all the time.  If I feel like wearing something subtle, I do that.  If I want color, I do that too.  

I would only be bothered if someone on-air had dirty or unkempt-looking nails.  Color is certainly fine with me

I agree that the bright nail colors don't offend me at all!  Now if the person presenting the jewelry had jagged nails or ragged looking cuticles....yes, that would bother me.

I kind of like seeing different colors, adds some spice and gives me ideas of trying new and different colors.  I remember I used to dislike blue polish but after seeing it on people, now I really like it, especially on my feet in the summertime.  It reminds me of the water and the beach, so I feel it's really fun to wear in the summer.

Are you kidding me?  All this is about nail polish?   Why does OP or anyone expect others to behave, talk, believe, or wear nail polish that they want?  Let them be themselves.  It's a whole lot better than a world full of blind followers.
