SLOW today!!!

It's always something. Today I waited so long to switch to another forum I could have gone out for coffee, come back, and I'd probably still be waiting. Plus everything I wrote was autosaved. Did I tell them to save it????? I don't think so. Plus the jumping. Worse than ever.

I agree, the slow loading pages is getting worse and worse.

As far as the 'autosave', it's always done that to me, but it doesn't slow anything down that I can tell.

But the jumping......Grrrrr.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I find auto save to be a huge asset. Never occurred to me anyone would find it bothersome.

@Judaline, why do you find autosave bothersome? Just curious since it is essentially a background process that doesn't interfere with posting or slow things down. It is also an easy way to leave a note to yourself with just a little manipulation.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

There are many times in the middle of writing a post that I get interrupted or must leave and do something else. Auto save saves what I wrote and I can go back and finish my post without having to rewrite the whole thing. I can also tell it to discard what I started and begin again. If you ignore it, it just goes away and you don't have to take any action.

Perhaps @Judaline doesn't understand how to use it?
